The 11th annual Fair at the Square event took over the streets along East Tremont Avenue Saturday.

The free event started as a block party. Now, it's a strip-wide summer festival.

Vendors sold fresh fried treats and hand-crafted goods and accessories along the strip.

The event is hosted by the Westchester Square Business Improvement District.

People say they enjoy events like this to meet their local community leaders and vendors.
