Surprised? Connecticut ranks 6th most expensive state for household bills, report says
A new report from the bill payment company doxo finds Connecticut is the sixth most expensive state in the U.S. for household bills.
The Nutmeg State was ranked just behind Massachusetts and Maryland.
Data shows residents are spending more than $2,380 a month on the 10 most common household bills. That number is 35% higher than the national average.
West Virginia was ranked the least expensive state. Mississippi and Arkansas rounded out the top 3.
