Trumbull woman creates mobile bar business after losing job during pandemic
A Trumbull woman has created a mobile bar business after losing her job during the COVID-19 pandemic.
When Jen Milano lost her job in corporate event planning during the pandemic, she decided to use the opportunity to take a new, creative path in life.
Inspired by images she saw on Pinterest, she set off to find a horse trailer to use for her own mobile bar business.
β€œI was googling where to buy a horse trailer. I was going to drive like 6 hours to pick one up,” she described.
After some renovating, the cart was ready to roll in October 2020.
β€œIt absolutely took off ... We did 44 events in our first 6 months. It was insane,” she said.
Milano hopes her story can inspire other women to take risks and pursue their goals.
