Fifty students from the Schermerhorn Program who are blind or visually impaired showed off what they learned all summer long. They performed skills such as plate spinning, juggling, wire-walking, hula hooping and more.
These skills are to help their rhythm, their balance and overall self-esteem and confidence.
The ringmaster of the performance was blind/visually impaired, and there was an audio descriptor so that all of those involved could participate in the fun.
