Yorktown Councilman and Deputy Supervisor Tom Diana (R) will be taking over as supervisor next month.

In preparation for the new role, he will lead town board meetings starting tomorrow.

Diana is taking over the position from current Supervisor Matt Slater.

Yorktown Supervisor Matt Slater (R) will be heading to Albany in January as the newly elected representative of the 94th Assembly District.

Diana is currently the longest serving Town Board member.
