News 12 has confirmed that allies of former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo have formed a super PAC to boost his expected campaign run for New York City mayor.
The move comes after News 12 exclusively reported Cuomo’s plan to enter the mayoral race last week.
The super PAC, called “Fix the City,” registered with the state Board of Elections on Wednesday.
The state Board of Elections website lists longtime Cuomo advisor Steven M. Cohen as one of the individuals behind the PAC.
