A group of animal advocates rallied outside Bronx Criminal Court to call out Daviid Mosley, who’s accused of brutally killing a cat in a ritualistic manner.
Judge Linda Poust-Lopez denied News 12’s request to capture video inside the courtroom.
Mosley appeared calm and stood up tall.
His original lawyer was not present, so the judge postponed his court date till Nov. 18. He was then released without supervision. He was previously on supervised release.
The 26-year-old man is facing charges of aggravated cruelty to animals, torturing and injuring animals and criminal mischief.
If convicted, Mosley faces up to seven years for the criminal mischief charges and up to two years for animal cruelty.
