Animal Care Centers of New York city is hosting a series of adoption events in the Bronx and around the five boroughs.
A mobile pet adoption center was set up outside of Petco on Gun Hill Road Sunday.
Organizers say the event is an opportunity to make Bronx residents aware about adoption events going on in the city.
They say it's a chance to bring more pets to safe and loving homes.
There are upcoming adoption events happening throughout January in all five boroughs.
