The annual Food Network New York City Wine and Food Festival kicks off this week, and for the first time in 16 years, the festival is expanding to Brooklyn.
From Thursday Oct. 17 to Oct. 20, drink and food vendors will be set up along Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park.
To celebrate the return to the borough, Thursday night's kickoff party will focus on all things Brooklyn, with local chefs and DJs.
“The festival actually started in Brooklyn year one at the tobacco factory," said John Lollo, NYCWFF Festival Director. "Brooklyn's been the culinary dynasty of the city.”
