Anti-Defamation League opening office in Brooklyn to help combat rise in antisemitism

The ADL found that last year Brooklyn experienced a 75% increase in hate crimes compared to the previous year.

The Anti-Defamation League is opening a new office in Brooklyn to help combat the rise in antisemitism incidents.
The ADL found that last year Brooklyn experienced a 75% increase in hate crimes compared to the previous year.
In 2022, there was a 39% increase in antisemitic incidents throughout the state. Throughout the city in 2022, there were 395 total antisemitic incidents with 147 of them in Brooklyn.
The ADL's satellite office will partner with law enforcement, elected officials and schools to build relationships within the community.
