The still-unsolved death of a 28-year-old man in the Bronx this week is inspiring a Friday night march against gun violence.
The anti-violence organization Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence will be gathering outside 2171 Grand Concourse at 5 p.m.
The march is calling attention to the death of Parrish Truesdale, who was fatally shot earlier this week.
Police said early evidence led them to believe that Truesdale was shot from behind by a suspect wearing a red and black jacket with their hair in the style of dreadlocks.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
