Police are looking for whoever is responsible for vandalizing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Westchester Square campaign office.
The NYPD got a call about the vandalism around 12:45 a.m. When they arrived, they found red paint splattered all across the front of the office as well as a sign reading "AOC FUNDS GENOCIDE IN GAZA."
This comes just days after AOC voted against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's amendment to cut aid to Israel's defense force, a move many say is contrary to her public criticism of U.S. support for Israel.
AOC posted on X on Saturday to defend her decision, saying in part, "Of course I voted against it. What it does is cut off defensive Iron Dome capacities while allowing the actual bombs killing Palestinians to continue."
News 12 reached out to AOC's office and is waiting for a reply.
Police say this investigation is ongoing.
