A television show is filming in Hastings, bringing an economic boost to the community.
Production for an Apple TV series called "The Crowded Room," starring Tom Holland, has set up shop on Main Street in the village.
Crews were seen Thursday filming inside Slices Pizza.
Production sets aren't foreign to Westchester County. The county is placing itself on the map in Hollywood, as five television series that filmed in Westchester earned 70 Emmy nominations on Tuesday.
"It's a growth industry for Westchester County and it represents an economic future," said County Executive George Latimer. He pointed out that production crews can easily travel from New York City to film in Hastings.
Latimer also said communities in Westchester can be camouflaged to align with various storylines.
"Small villages that can be made to look like a midwestern town, or a town in the south and urban street settings because you have Mount Vernon, Yonkers," he said.
There's no word yet on an official release date for "The Crowded Room."
The 74th Emmy Award Show will air on NBC on Sept. 12.
