Arrest made in fatal stabbing of Concourse Village mother

Officials say Yesenia Hall was pronounced dead and her 16-year-old son was hospitalized after the attack inside their home in Concourse Village.

Police confirm that an arrest has been made in connection with a brutal Concourse Village stabbing that left a 42-year-old mother dead.

Officials say Yesenia Hall was killed and her 16-year-old son was hospitalized after the attack inside their home on Saturday morning.

Authorities say it occurred just before 7 a.m. at 956 Sherman Ave.

Responding officers found the two victim with stab wounds to the neck, torso and back.

Police say 45-year-old Juan Rivas has since been charged with murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
