A public piece of art is sparking conversation in Brooklyn.
The "Monument to the Unelected" is a visual display of failed presidential election bids. It is a temporary installation with 58 signs displaying the names of losing major party candidates from every presidential election in American history.
The piece, by artist Nina Katchadourian, is located on the front lawn of the Lefferts Historic House at Prospect Park.
Katchadourian says her piece is not a political statement. She says she wants people to walk by and reflect on the road not traveled.
