Sen. Bob Menendez held a first of its kind event Saturday in Hudson County in honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

The Asian American Pacific Islander Celebration was held at New Jersey City University in Jersey City. 

Several leaders from that community were honored  who have made a positive impact on the Garden State.
