Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person who assaulted a woman with a cane at a Williamsbridge bodega over the weekend.
Investigators say the 69-year-old victim was approached and struck with the object inside the White Plains Road business on Saturday.
She sustained a wound on her forehead and was hospitalized for treatment.
Authorities say the victim was not a store employee.
