The NYPD is investigating multiple violent incidents happening in subways across New York City.
Police say a 31-year-old man was on a Manhattan-bound J train Sunday and got into a dispute with another man. The argument led to the 31-year-old man being stabbed in the torso. He's expected to be OK.
Last week, officers found Devictor Quedraogo, 36, with a fatal stab wound to the chest while onboard a north bound J train. It's still unclear what led to the stabbing, but police say a 20-year-old man is now facing manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
Officers say 32-year-old Tavon Silver, 32, from the Bronx, was killed after being stabbed to death on a south 4 train. Over in Manhattan, three women were slashed just minutes apart from each other Sunday and the alleged suspect is still on the loose.
Some commuters who spoke with News 12 Monday said they still feel safe on NYC subways. The NYPD is reporting transit misdemeanor assaults are up 15.1% while felony assaults are down 7.8% since this time last year.
