A fentanyl takedown in the East Concourse has led to 11 people arrested, as the Drug Enforcement Agency says hundreds of thousands of deadly doses of fentanyl were found.  

Apartment 2B at 1244 Grand Concourse was being used as a drug packaging mill and was raided after a monthslong investigation from the New York Drug Enforcement Task Force.  

Video from the DEA shows loose powder drugs lining the dining room table in the apartment, with hundreds of thousands of glassines containing fentanyl scattered across the living room.  

Agents say that all of the necessary equipment for packaging heroin and fentanyl was found across the apartment, and the drugs that were seized carry an estimated value of $4 million.  

Authorities raided the apartment on Nov. 1 while some of the suspects attempted to hide on the roof of the building.  

Eleven people that agents say had their hands on this operation were arrested and faced a judge today in Manhattan. Those 11 people face a handful of charges, including but not limited to criminal possession of a controlled substance.
