Authorities say four people were injured in an overnight apartment fire on 55th Street in Brooklyn.
They say a fire started on the top floor of the building around midnight.
Two residents were injured and treated at the scene. One firefighter and one resident were taken to NYU Brooklyn Hospital.
The second-floor windows were all boarded up this morning with residents of that floor now without a home.
The FDNY got the fire under control in about 45 minutes after their arrival. Burnt debris was all over the awnings and the sidewalk late Sunday morning.
