Authorities: 30-year-old man struck by car while walking on Henry Hudson Parkway
Police say a 30-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a car in the Bronx.
Officers say they found a man lying on the road near West 232nd Street and Henry Hudson Parkway with head trauma around midnight.
Lanes were shut down as firefighters and police officers responded to help the victim, and worked to clear the area and gather evidence.
According to authorities, the 30-year-old man was walking on the highway when he was hit by a Lexus driving southbound.
News 12 was told the driver of the vehicle remained on scene. It appears the driver is not facing any charges yet.
