Authorities in search of driver involved in hit-and-run that killed 74-year-old in Brooklyn

Police say they responded to a call of a woman struck by a vehicle on East 80th Street after 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that killed a 74-year-old woman in Brooklyn Wednesday night.
Police say they responded to a call of a woman struck by a vehicle on East 80th Street after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers say when they arrived, they found 74-year-old Maureen Fraser unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to her head.
Police say Fraser was attempting to cross East 80th Street heading eastbound when she was struck by an unidentified white van traveling southbound.
Fraser was taken to Brookdale Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities say the van did not remain on the scene.
