Authorities: Man fatally stabbed girlfriend, body found at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Authorities have announced a Philadelphia man is charged with murder and currently wanted in connection to the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

Authorities have announced a Philadelphia man is charged with murder and currently wanted in connection to the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
The stabbing happened around 9:45 p.m. Friday.
Authorities say Frankie E. Lane, 59, is currently wanted on charges by law enforcement.
Police responded to the casino for a report of a deceased female with multiple stab wounds inside a hotel room. The female was identified as Sharon Whaley, 57, of Philadelphia.
Following an investigation, Whaley's boyfriend, identified as Lane, was charged with murder and weapons offenses.     
Whaley's autopsy will be completed today. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office at 609-909-7800.
