Two men are wanted in connection to an attempted robbery on April 13 in Canarsie, police say.

Investigators say a 65-year-old man was sitting in his car outside of 1370 Ralph Ave. when he was approached by the two suspects from the driver's side window. According to police, the suspects punched the victim numerous times in the face.

One of the men took out a weapon while the other tried to take the man's chain from his neck.

The two men demanded that man get out of his car and hand them the keys. That's when police say the victim got a hold of a firearm, causing the suspects to take off in a nearby Jeep Cherokee.

No word was given on the victim's condition.

Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call police.
