Police say a man has been sent to the hospital after he was hit by a car in Brooklyn Monday morning.
Fort Hamilton Parkway between 54th and 55th streets has been blocked off to traffic as NYPD officers investigate the car crash involving a 23-year-old man.
According to the NYPD, a man was riding on his scooter around 4:15 a.m. on 54th Street when he was hit by a Honda Accord that was traveling southbound.
He was knocked unconscious and taken to a hospital where he's now in critical condition.
The driver of the car did stay on the scene. No arrests have been made at this time.
