B train service severely delayed in both directions due to tree on tracks

The MTA suggests alternate routes of travel including the Q train for Brooklyn commuters, the C train for Manhattan commuters, and the D train for Bronx commuters.

The windy weather has yet to let up and caused a tree to fall on the tracks of the B line near Avenue M severely delaying all B train service, according to the MTA.
The wind advisory is active through 11 p.m. Monday night for New York City. News 12 spoke to people driving on the roads who say that even though they aren’t using public transportation, they can feel the wind in their cars.
