Residents in Longwood are trying to come to terms with two fires that tore through their neighborhood on back-to-back days and on the same block.
Flames broke out Friday night at 985 E. 163rd St. just one day after tenants were forced out of their apartments in a neighboring building.
There is no word on whether there is a connection between the two fires.
Residents in both buildings say they are thankful that there were no injuries.
The Red Cross is currently taking care of six adults and two children displaced by the second fire.
