The rapper, who is a Bronx native, made a surprise visit to the Eagle Academy Thursday to donate sweatsuits, sneakers and more to the students.
Fat Joe does a lot in his home borough, including opening businesses in the area.
"What we're trying to tell them is you can be successful, but you don't have to leave where you're from," said Fat Joe.
The rapper gave $100,000 worth of donations in all.
