Detectives are trying to track down whoever is responsible for breaking into a Bronx bank, apparently by way of a vacant store right next door.
News 12 cameras captured a gaping hole inside the empty business, which led right into the Ridgewood Saving Bank at a strip mall on Gun Hill Road.
Police say money and other items were stolen from the bank, but it's not yet clear how much.
News 12 spoke with people in the area who were surprised this could happen at such a busy location.
