A 22-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly breaking into a woman's home and raping her last Saturday. But police say he did not work alone.

Mohammad Izzeddin, of Bay Ridge, was taken to jail on multiple charges after police say he and another man broke into a home and raped a 49-year-old woman. Izzeddin claims he thought the home was a prostitution spot, according to police.

Officials say Izzeddin and the other man held the woman captive and forced her to engage in sexual intercourse.

Izzeddin is now facing several charges, including rape, robbery and unlawful imprisonment.

Officials are still looking for Izzeddin’s accomplice who is described as a man in his 30s, between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall with black hair. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this man is asked to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
