Family and friends held a vigil in Baychester on Friday evening to remember a Bronx man who died in a car crash earlier in the week.
The NYPD said 25-year-old Andre Beadle was involved in a single-car crash shortly after 1 a.m. on Wednesday on the Nassau Expressway in Queens.
Investigators said Beadle was driving a 2023 BMW at a high-rate speed when he lost control of the sedan, veered off the road and hit a metal pole.
Authorities said the driver was ejected from the car and taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Beadle was a car enthusiast and was known to create content on YouTube.
Along with the vigil at Heffan Park, there was a growing memorial outside of Beadle’s Baychester home and near one of his cars.
