A Bronx family living on Belmont Avenue says it is fed up with the deplorable conditions of its apartment and is demanding that something be done.
Ryan Gadsen and his family have lived on Belmont Avenue for five years. Gadsen says the problems in the apartment started the first winter he lived there. He says the ceilings leak, there is mold and that some of the seals on the windows are broken. Gadsen says he can't even let his kids play in certain areas of the apartment because of the poor conditions.
Gadsen says he has documented all of the problems through the years. He has reached out to the building's super and management, but has never been given a real solution. He has also made complaints to 311.
News 12 The Bronx contacted the management company. The company says it's trying to reach the super to discuss the matter.
