The best friend of Gabby Petito shared a look into what Petito's relationship with her fiancé Brian Laundrie was like.

Rose Davis, who lives in Sarasota, Florida, says she met Gabby Petito two years ago when she moved from Blue Point to live in North Port, Florida, with Laundrie and his family.

Davis says, "This whole thing is just so heartbreaking."

Davis says Laundrie was the jealous and manipulative one in the relationship.

"Little bit like controlling I noticed, getting what he wants," says Davis. "Like that's a red flag. That's a toxic trait."

Davis says Laundrie was always charismatic. She says he would make her breakfast every morning but then the jealousy side would come out.

Petito and Davis shared good times dancing in TikTok videos, taking selfies and taking trips to their favorite ice cream shop.

"She's very easy going," says Davis. "She's just the bright light that shines on everyone."

Davis says when Utah police showed the bodycam video of her friend crying, she wasn't surprised. She says the couple had similar fights.

Petito was reported missing on Sept. 11. Laundrie, who is named a person of interest in Petito's disappearance, has refused to talk to police and is now missing.

"It's so crazy and surreal," says Davis.
