For a seventh consecutive year, the city's Parks Department is bringing art to the table, specifically the lunch table.
The Learning through an Expanded Arts Program, known as LeAp, unveiled its latest student artwork exhibition in the middle of Claremont Park.
The table features a mosaic of artwork from eight middle schoolers at New Venture Academy 219. They say each piece spotlights an important issue, with the theme being the power to change the world.
LeAp creator Alexandra Leff says the program not only strives to empower young students to have voices in their communities, but also inspires the community to discuss certain issues.
