A Bronx singer is on a journey to be part of America's next boy band sensation.

Andrew Ramos, 19, is one of the finalists in the ABC musical competition series "Boy Band."

"Honestly, this is like one of the best experiences of my life," he says.

Ramos calls his mother an inspiration to him, and he says he hopes to make it to the very end of the show.

"If I get eliminated at this stage it would really break my heart," Ramos adds. "You work so hard for this and you're this close."

The show airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC. Viewers can call in to vote for their favorites.
