A Bronx horse stable is giving residents an opportunity to break free from the reins of city life.
The center hosts a variety of programs including Gallop NYC, a therapeutic horseback riding experience for children with special needs.
Center manager Michael Moynihan says the children really enjoy the program.
"We have children here with a variety of struggles, and they come here for the experience and some even continue taking lessions," Moynihan says.
He says the center has been a part of the Bronx since the 1920s.
