Thursday's nor'easter left New York City with plenty of snow, but also with icy conditions and freezing weather.
It may take a few days for all of the snow to melt and that's OK with some people.
Some children in the city spent the day building a snow man as their parents looked on.
"I love seeing the kids have joy," one resident says. "We needed a fun day."
Other may have tough time shoveling out that snow from their cars as low temperatures could freeze up the snow.
Anyone who does go outside in the snow should wear boots and other layers to keep warm.
