The "Black Ink Crew" teamed up with One Brooklyn Health Tuesday in Bed-Stuy for a vaccine block party.
The team from the legendary tattoo shop and hit reality show wanted to inform and register members of the community to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Dante de Blasio, Mayor Bill de Blasio's son, was on hand as part of the community outreach.
"We're doing a community outreach event here in Bed-Stuy today. We're trying to get more and more people vaccinated so the city can get back to normal. We've been finding that there's definitely still some vaccine skepticism, but the big problem has been convenience," de Blasio said. "We're just trying to get more and more resources to different communities and trying to make up for any gaps in vaccination rates."
Free food, tattoos and more were given out as part of the event.
