The organization Black Opportunities, also the founders of Black Lives Matter Greater New York, held a turkey giveaway Sunday ahead of Thanksgiving.

The 500 free turkeys were given away to Bronx residents at the corner of 161st Street and Walton Avenue. The organization also served 1,000 hot meals to people in Times Square, continuing their efforts in the Bronx.

PCNY provided the turkeys for donation.
