Teresa's Gourmet Italian Ices has been making the Bronx sweeter for nearly a decade.

Customers say there is one homemade dessert that keeps them coming back to the Crosby Avenue store for more. 

The shop's owner, Teresa Darmetti says she came up with a brownie recipe after ice cream sales hit a slump during the winter and it's become a hit ever since.

"You realize that no one wants to have an Italian ice in the winter so we've added and added and now there's a whole array of goodies that people can have anytime."

Darmetti says she even added the brownie to her ice cream.

The shop also sells a special cannoli cream brownie for those who wish to combine the two sweets.
