Community members got the opportunity to meet their favorite author at the borough’s first brook festival at Fordham Plaza on Saturday.
The Bronx has been without a bookstore since the Bay Chester Barns & Noble store closed in 2016.
Saraciea Fennell organized the event, inviting authors to talk in a panel discussion.
A bookstore is scheduled to open in the Bronx this summer.
