As we head into the first weekend of May, we have a couple showery periods to contend with. Overall, the weekend will be cool and trending drier. But we could see some wet weather during the overnight into early Saturday, and again during the second half of Saturday. These are low, minute rain chances and will not bring us heavy precipitation or impact our drought. But we could see a few nuisance showers into the first half of the weekend. Sunday will be better.

The first full moon of the month is here! Overnight we will have the flower moon, although overnight showers and clouds will likely impede complete viewing.

Temperatures remain cooler than normal in the higher 50s and lower 60s. We will see seasonable temperatures returning into early next week with the middle parts warming up to well above average! Unfortunately, that could coincide with our next rain chances.
