A Bridgeport Public Schools teacher has been charged with sexual assault.

News 12 is still waiting to get a look at the arrest warrants for 30-year-old Samantha Peck, which should shed more light on the allegations.

Police say they arrested Peck Tuesday on four counts of second-degree sexual assault.

Peck, from Thomaston, was listed online as a science teacher at Bridgeport Military Academy, but the school's website says that page is currently unavailable.

Her arrest comes several days after Bridgeport Superintendent Michael Testani announced a teacher at BMA was put on administrative leave while under investigation by law enforcement for alleged "inappropriate behavior."

In that memo, Testani did not name Peck and said the school system was cooperating with the investigation.

Testani wrote, "As you are aware, student safety is our first priority. We have zero tolerance for any actions that compromise the safety and well-being of our students."

Testani has not responded to News 12 inquiries and neither has the academy's principal.

Hearst Media reports the victims are a male student and a female student allegedly assaulted on separate numerous occasions in 2018, 2019 and 2020 - both at school during school hours and at various locations after school.

Peck also reportedly admitted to having a sexual relationship with the victims when interviewed by detectives. Police declined to confirm those details, citing the sensitive nature of this case.

Peck is currently free after posting $100,000 bond. Her attorney had no comment but told News 12 she is set to be arraigned Nov. 23.
