The first Broadway revival in 30 years of the musical "Camelot" is now in performances at Lincoln Center Theater.

Directed by Bartlett Sher, the classic tale of the utopian kingdom of Camelot features the famed score by Frederick Loewe and Alan Jay Lerner and a revised book by Aaron Sorkin.

The cast is led by Andrew Burnap as King Arthur, Phillipa Soo as Queen Guenevere and Jordan Donica as the dashing knight, Lancelot, who falls in love with Guenevere.

"That search for love is so necessary and desperate to this plot," says Donica. "And that is to me what this whole show is about. How three people's exploration of love ultimately can bring down an entire kingdom if you let it. And when you look at that in real life, So many people fall in love for a moment and then something outside of that love draws one or the other away. And in the book there's a line that says Lancelot gave his God to Guenevere and she in turn gave him his freedom. Which I think is the epitome of this character. Once he's able to express that love even if it's a betrayal of someone else that he loves, he actually is able to grow into his humanity. And I think that's beautiful."

Donica previously appeared on Broadway in the role of Raoul in "The Phantom of the Opera" and as Freddy Eynsford-Hill in the 2018 revival of "My Fair Lady." In addition, he played the character Jordan Chase on the television fantasy drama, "Charmed."

As Lancelot, Donica performs two of the score's most famous numbers, "C'est Moi" and "If I Would Ever Leave You."
