A group of tenants at the Sotomayor Houses in Soundview is accusing the New York City Housing Authority of ignoring complaints about broken doors for almost a year.
The tenants of 1824 Watson Ave. say they posted a sign in the building about how they would seek help from News 12.
The renters showed News 12 The Bronx how the front and rear entrances have broken glass and are missing keyholes.
Then, while News 12 was in the building, NYCHA workers arrived and fixed the broken glass.
NYCHA says it understands the issues are important to residents, and staff are working to fix them as soon as possible.
