An after-school program that many Bronx families rely on is in danger of shutting down.
Elementary students in the Kids Creative after-school program at the Joseph Loretan School have been enjoying activities for the past four years.
Parents say program activities such as storytelling and listening to music have helped foster their children's creativity.
The federally funded program could be shut down soon if Congress passes a bill that would take its grant away.
Organizers and parents are banding together by contacting local politicians in hopes of extending the grant or finding funding elsewhere.
