Members of the Bangladeshi community in the Bronx gathered on Starling Avenue Saturday for a vigil after two deadly terrorist attacks struck Bangladesh just days apart.
Many attendees say they have family in the capital city of Dhaka, where 20 hostages were killed last week when terrorists armed with assault rifles stormed a cafe.
On Thursday, four more people were killed in Bangladesh when extremists targeted an Eid prayer service that was attended by hundreds of thousands of people.
Members of the Bangladeshi community in the Bronx gathered in Parkchester Saturday to send prayers to Bangladesh and the rest of the world amid times of violence and tension.
