(01/03/06) THE BRONX ? Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion began his second term in office Tuesday with a swearing-in ceremony at Bronx Community College.

During his inauguration speech, Carrion focused on Bronx employment and education issues. Carrion says the creation of a new Yankee Stadium will go a long way in bringing new jobs to the borough. Other issues the borough president will have to face include various health problems among residents, such as a high obesity rate, and gang violence.

Carrion will deliver his State of the Borough speech on February 2.
