Gov. Andrew Cuomo is urging families to limit their Thanksgiving dinners to no more than 10 people as parts of the Bronx and Brooklyn are seeing a surge in coronavirus cases.
Neighborhoods in the Bronx like Soundview, Highbridge, University Heights and Mott Haven have turned into yellow zones due to the recent spike.
In Brooklyn, Midwood, Flatbush and Gravesend are now yellow zones.
The seven-day rolling average across the five boroughs is just over 3% as of Friday, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio.
Yellow zones restrict houses of worship to 50% capacity and gatherings are limited to 25 people whether they are indoors or outdoors.
