"Salsa Row" may sound like a new dance move, but it's actually a Bronx destination in the works.
Restaurant and shop owners along a section of Westchester Avenue, which is rich with Latin dining and dancing, are banding together to re-brand and create the Central Bronx Merchant Association.
Owners say that competition has led to some tough times for business, but they're hoping "Salsa Row" will help turn things around.
Once the association is finalized, members plan to host festivals and fairs aimed at getting more people to discover what they have to offer.
"Salsa Row" spans from White Plains Road to Morrison Avenue along Westchester Avenue.
